Domestic table and sparkling wine sales increased by 5% in the last 12 months, ending in October. On the other hand, table wines increased by 6% while sparkling increased by more than 2%. The overall wine market value increased by 4% in the U.S. due to the growth in domestic wine sales.
Growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) activity, as well as opportunities related to e-commerce, are benefitting wineries. Positions associated with DTC have increased by 2% due to a growth rate in people hired for those positions.
