According to Nielsen data, total wine sales were up nearly 2 percent for the first half of this year while volumes were down by about 1.1 percent. Oregon table wine sales increased by nearly 15 percent and volumes increased by 13.5 percent in the first half of this year. Nielsen reported that domestic sales are surpassing imports as domestic wine sales are up by 1.5 percent. Rose blends have remained on top among varietals as reports show that sales and volumes were up by 22 percent. The canned wine category reported strong growth with sales up 91 percent and volumes up 72 percent.
