State governments across the country are calling for the temporary closure of bars and restaurants in order to combat the spread of the COVID-19. In a press briefing on Monday, President Trump recommended Americans avoid eating and drinking at restaurants, bars, and public food courts.
As of publishing time, the following states have issued restrictions to their respective bar and restaurant businesses: California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington state.
