Rosé sales remain strong and popularity is still on the rise. In the first half of 2019, rosé made up about 9 percent of total wine sales, compared to 8 percent in 2018 and 7 percent in 2017, according to a report by Drizly. The canned wine trend has seen growth within the rosé category as its popularity in the summer time calls for portable drinks. While canned wine only makes up 1 percent share of total wine sales, it accounts for a 2 percent share of total rosé sales. Data from the 52 weeks from June 2018 to June 2019 reveals that rosé was up 27 percent.
