The last twelve months have been a period of dramatic growth for the online deliver of wine. As the craze for more products delivered through online purchases the trend has spilled over to the alcoholic beverage market throughout the country.
Data from the San Francisco based Slice Intelligence research notes that online alcohol delivery grew by a very impressive 32.7 percent in 2017. In the same period, internet sales increased at an average rate of 3 percent month over month. December was the highest revenue-earning month of 2017, making up 12.2 percent of total annual sales. The key factor researchers say is convenience, shoppers are getting used to the idea of having goods delivered directly to their homes and that trend doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon.
