State question 792 would change Oklahoma’s laws to allow wine and cold beer to be sold in grocery and convenience stores, starting in 2018. State question 792, approved by 65% of voters, includes several changes to Oklahoma’s liquor laws, including eliminating references to 3.2-percent beer allowing for the sale of cold high-point beer and wine in grocery and convenience stores and the sale of non-alcohol items at retail liquor stores. The Retail Liquor Association’s Attorney expects the lawsuit to come in the next few weeks.
