Restaurants from coast to coast are now introducing natural wines on their menus as they grow in popularity. To be considered a natural wine the wine must be made with little to no commercial additives and preservatives during the fermentation and bottling process. Organic wine sales in the U.S have reached over $200 million annually and are expected to rise as young people continue to opt for natural, organic, and local. According to the IWSR, global consumption of organic still wine is expected to grow from 349 million bottles to 1 billion by the year 2022. In the U.S, forecasts predict that consumption will increase by 14% in that period.
