In July, Control States spirits increased in volume and value up by 3.6 percent and 5.8 percent more than the previous 12 month growth rate of 2.5 percent and 5.0 percent.
Control States sales increased by 3.6 y/y percent in July. Control States spirits (which is 22 percent of the US market) volume grew by 3.6 percent in July, more than the previous 12 months where there was an increase of 2.5 percent. The value growth of 5.8 percent was above the 12 month value growth of 5.0 percent although price/mix of 2.2 percent decreased compared to the last 12 months. Note that Control States volume and value grew by 4.6 percent and 6.7 percent.
