Johnson Brothers, one of the nation’s largest wine, beer and spirits distributors, recently announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Mutual Distributing of North Carolina. This acquisition expands Johnson Brothers distribution area into the state of North Carolina as well as the portfolio of the brands it represents in the state.
Johnson Brothers is a family-owned wine, spirits, and beer distributor that currently has operations in 24 states. The company has been in in the state of North Carolina since 1975 and is looking to expand its reach in the state with the new acquisition. Johnson Brothers will be celebrating their 65th anniversary in 2018. Mutual Distributing is one of the largest distributors in the state of North Carolina and services the entire state with over 700 employees operating out of seven full-service branch offices located throughout the state.
