The IWSR Drinks Market Analysis Global Database reported that the spirits category continues to experience great consumer loyalty. The world’s top 100 fastest-growing spirits brands collectively grew by 11% volume compared to total global spirits category growth of 0.8% in the year 2018. In the spirits category, gin experienced the largest gain in global beverage alcohol consumption in the past year. More than half of the brands that are included in the list of fastest growing are soju, baijiu, and Indian whiskey.
