The U.S. is still a hot market in 2018 with wine imports breaking record numbers so far this year. Imported spirits have also been growing in Q1 of 2018 as volumes were up over 10 percent so far.
Imported vodka saw the largest jump, up a staggering 31 percent. Imported Rum volumes also saw significant growth, up 81 percent. Tequila and Mezcal volumes were up a strong 13 percent and Imported Gin volumes rose 2 percent. Imported Whiskey volumes were the only major category that did not see significant growth, up just under 1 percent.
