Cocktails are the leading drinks choice in bars, restaurants, hotels, and casinos. However, spicy and savory cocktails are currently trending in cities, such as New York and Los Angeles. Bartenders use a variety of ingredients to create these drinks, such as pepper extracts, jalapeno, dried chilis, habanero peppers, and more.
Spicy flavors are not a new addition in regards to the spirits category. Since 2015, brands have mimicked bartenders in regards to adding spices into their cocktails. Bartenders continue to use vegetables, such as ginger, to add texture, as well as an extra kick of flavor to cocktails.
