It makes sense that the American Midwest produces some of consumer’s favorite new spirits brands. The heartland produces most of the grain that is grown in this country so opening a distillery in the surrounding states is just good business. Craft distilleries especially have sprung up in the region in recent years, starting with craft beer and now growing into craft distilleries now as well. There is a lot of excitement in the region regarding the steady growth of craft. With so much diversity available when selecting the various grains to be used in the spirits and the quality of ingredients it makes for a wide range of diverse and excellent spirits.
